Chilli Padi Local Recipe is New @ Danau Kota, Setapak

A new food outlet has just opened at Danau Kota, Setapak and it’s called “Chilli Padi Local Recipe”. This premises was previously occupied by Six Happiness Restaurant I think they have moved to another location.

The curry chicken was too salty and gravy was too thick. The deep fried Taupok was good.

Lamb Chop and a crispy chicken burger.

Curry noodle was found salty, I just hope that is not the taste of curry mee here. The free Cendol was good but can be better.

Nasi Bojari - Zuyi was too engrossed with it, guess it was delicious.

My drink of the evening, cendol with red beans - I like it.

Arthur's Day @ Malaysia 2010

As part of global celebration, we, the Malaysian people were at Sunway Lagoon celebrating Arthur Guinness birthday.

One for the record of year 2010.

This is the young & talented Jamaican-American singer Sean Kingston in Malaysia.
Other than Kingston we have American rapper and singer Flo Rida, American pop and R&B singer-songwriter Colby O'Donis, Thai-American hip hop band Thaitanium, independent rap-rock band pop Shuvit, hip hop and R&B artiste Mizz Nina, R&B artiste Melisa Indot, and turntable guru DJ Fuzz.

Despite the rain the older young in hearts were there too to celebrate.

Thank you to Sean Kingston for the autographed towel to keep me dry.

The wonderful firework was launched to call off the night and drive home safely.

Fish Head Curry @ E & O, Taman Wahyu, Kuala Lumpur

I think the first time I visited this place was in 1986 when I was working for a developer @ Jalan Raja Laut. I followed my superior Yuen Leong for a heavy lunch probably with a contractor. Last two years I have been here several times as our work site is quite near this place.

A standard serving of papadam & red sambal chilli.

Poached vegetable with oyster sauce.
Crispy fried calamari but succulent in the inside.

The signature dish of E & O curry fish head, it was a red fish, a jenahak. It was fresh & tasty. The curry came with lady fingers, long beans, brinjal and taupok.

The place is conducive you can opt for an air conditioned or non air conditioned eating place. The pricing is on a steeper side, I used to see a lot of food wastages on other tables whenever I walk out of the restaurant.
